Vestfold University College is located in Tønsberg, one of the historical shipping towns of Norway. VUC cooperates with the maritime industries in the region to provide maritime professional education, maritime management programmes and research within the maritime field. 

In addition to the Bachelor of Nautical Studies, we offer the only Bachelor of Marine Engineering in Norway, both degree leading to a career as an officer at sea. We also offer a Bachelor of Shipping and Logistics. Norways only master program in Maritime Management is also offered at VUC.

A state of the art simulation centre is located on campus, and in connection to this several maritime businesses have offices, amongst others Kongsberg Maritime and the Norwegian Maritime Education Centre.
